How will I get my baby home?
Most of our clients don't live super close, so there is often the question, "How will I get my new baby home?"
Safety is our first priority, and we offer several safe ways to get your puppy to you. We want the transition for your baby and you to be as happy and stress-free as possible.
Going home options
Pick Up Here - Free
This is the simplest option. We set up an appointment, and you drive here. You may relax in our living room and ask all your questions. You may meet your puppies parents, siblings and often extended family. Balance via Cash or PayPal at pick up, PayPal ahead, or check received minimum 14 days before pick up.
Meet You
We have three options to come meet you. We set up an appointment. Availability on dates may be limited. You may ask all your questions at the meeting. Balance via Cash or PayPal at pick up, PayPal ahead, or check received minimum 14 days before pick up.
Meet you at the Charlotte NC airport
Free
To meet you at the gate, we need 2 people bc parking at the airport is a beast. Wednesdays and Thursdays are preferred, Check date availability before booking flights.
Meet you at a hotel close to the Charlotte NC airport or within 2 hours one
Free
We have more flexibility to meet you at your hotel close to the Charlotte airport, especially in the evening or super early in the morning, bc we can park and only requires one of us. If we need to drive 2hrs to meet you, Wednesdays and Thursdays are our best options. Please confirm dates and availability before you book.
Meet you within 5 hours one way
$250 plus fuel cost
We will drive up to 5hrs one way to meet you for $250 (for our day) plus gas/fuel.
Wednesdays and Thursdays are the best options.
Fuel cost:
Our trucks get 14mpg.
Diesel is approx $5.50/gal.
You take total miles driven to meet you divided by 14(mpg), multiplied by diesel price (approx $5.50).
Example:
Client chooses a meeting spot 250 miles from our farm. This makes our total miles driven 500 miles.
Our trucks get 14mph. 500miles/14mpg = 35.7 gal used.
35.7 x $5.50= $196.35 fuel cost
Fly to Meet You
We also fly out of Charlotte NC to meet families with their new puppies. Availability on dates is limited. Tommy flies on Wednesdays and Thursdays only. You must check date availability before booking. You may ask all your questions at the meeting. Balance via PayPal ahead, or check received minimum 14 days before pick up.
Single Day Flights
$250 to Tommy
You purchase tickets for flights, and pay any required pet fees (usually $100-150 depends on the airline). Layovers to meet clients, deliver puppy and answer questions must be 2 hours minimum. You may use air miles or discount websites to get the lowest prices on tickets. Flights may be booked as soon as deposit is received.
Two Day Flights
$500 to Tommy
Some locations have limited flights, and require 2 days of traveling. In this situation you purchase tickets for flights, book and pay for a hotel room and pay any required pet fees (usually $100-150 depends on the airline). Layovers to meet clients, deliver puppy and answer questions must be 2 hours minimum. You may use air miles or discount websites to get the lowest prices on tickets. Flights may be booked as soon as deposit is received.
