We are a big family that works, 'lives', and plays together at Fox Point Farm. We thought you might like to get to know some of the key 'players' of our group.

Charlotte Cannon : Originally from Virginia horse country, multiple world champion horse trainer and instructor Charlotte Cannon has lived in South Carolina for the past 20 years.

Charlotte grew up riding hunters and racehorses. By showing all summer and foxhunting all winter her trainer, Rosemary Thomas, instilled a need for variety and naturalness in her.

When she moved to SC in 1989, Charlotte met D. John Deas a world champion western pleasure trainer who offered her not only a great job but also a great introduction into western events done softly and with the horses mental and emotional fitness intact.

She continued her quest for knowledge and studied under several great horseman including Ray Hunt, Gary Biggerstaff and Dave Seay. Although she had met and found great information, she still saw a huge gap between the natural colt starters and the show horse trainers. She could see there was a need for a trainer to bridge this gap.

Five years ago a thoughtful client introduced Charlotte to Parelli Natural Horsemanship and she felt like she had found what she was seeking. Pat and Charlotte got into a friendly conversation at a Tour Stop and he started seeing a future in Parelli for her too.

During a trip to ride with him at his Ocala farm last year, he asked Charlotte to be the 'Den Mother' of a new global kids program destined to change the world. She accepted and has engaged in another journey to bring natural horsemanship to kids in a fun exciting way so that they can achieve great performance. Through Pat, Charlotte has become friends with and a student of both million dollar reiner, Craig Johnson, and multi world champion working cowhorse trainer Rick Steed, who both have helped her reach new heights not only for herself but also for her students.

Charlotte is a dedicated horseman who strives everyday to improve her skills both with her horses and with her students. She brings new vibrant energy to the horse world actually coaching and mentoring its future professionals.

Tommy Robinson grew up in the NC mountains riding all through the trails with his Dad. At 10 yrs old he started competing in local open shows in ALL the events from western pleasure to barrels and poles. His serious showing started when he went to college at NC State. From there he got jobs working for both Carol Harris (caring for Superhorse Rugged Lark) and Thompson Quarter Horses. He started his super successful showing and coaching career with AQHA Western Pleasure and Hunter Under Saddle horses. He got interested in the Trail and that was another match made in Heaven! Tommy has made more Superior Trail and World Champion horses than any other trainer in the area, one of the winniest in the country. In 2008 he stretched again and added Hunter Hack to his list of events, in his first Senior Hunter Hack World Show appearance, he was in the Top Ten. Tommy is a quiet focused results-getting trainer exceptional at developing the young (2 and 3 year olds) horses for futurities while respecting their bodies and minds. His babies grow into the all-around horses on which we win fancy neck ribbons, buckles and saddles! Be his next Super Star!

Tommy and his Robinson Show Horses were based in Yadkinville NC for 5 years; but in July 2007 he made the big move to Lancaster and everyone is delighted to have access to his expertise and knowledge. He is also an approved open show judge which gives him a greater perspective on what it takes to stand out.

Robin Woschkolup is always busy working out all our problems. Robin and her daughter Madison both ride here. Robin is the first voice most people get to know; she handles the phone. It is an ominous job but she keeps everyone scheduled and informed. We could not live without her! Next time you see Robin, shake her hand and say 'thanks' for keeping us together!

Jane McDowell has been with us since her early high school days too. Jane is a dear friend and is always there to help us in any way we ask. Her main job is taking care of the horses at the Lancaster location when Tommy has to be away. Jane is an excellent listener and is ready to make everyone feel 'right at home' from the start!

Ben Moore takes care of all the 'big stuff' at the Indian Land location. With the horrible hay shortage this year, Ben stepped up and found us hay and got it here. He and his dad built our new barn by themselves on their days off. He fixes countless fences and anything else that needs fixing. I think the horses would tear everything down around us if it were not for Ben constantly building it back up. He even built this website when he was bored. We are so grateful to have he and his family as members of our family!

Bryan Fisher is another family member, landing for good here in 2005. His daughter Avery started taking lessons from Charlotte when she was 5. They got so involved with horses they managed another barn for several years, always returning for summer camp. Finally they returned and Brian has been a blessing! He builds/fixes fences in Lancaster, puts up feeders in Indian Land, finds countless bits and saddles for everyone on the internet. He has worked hard to add animation and cool new stuff to our ever evolving website. If you need help, he and Avery are always there to assist you with a positive attitude and a kind word.

Rapheal Hernandez has been the Barn Manager in Indian Land since 2008. He has brought a pride and cleanliness that is unheard of in barn help today! Rapheal's brother Pedro worked for us for many years prior to Rapheal leaving Cedar Hill Farm and coming to work for us. Pedro now works for our dear friends, Adolf and Judy Galindo, also here in Indian Land on Henry Harris Road. We hope he stays many more years!

Susan SandallSusan Sandall helps us in Lancaster in the afternoons and on many weekends. She keeps a spotless barn and with her husband Greg' help, provides us with wonderful food at our shows and many of our events.
